What you need to know about bottle sealing waxes
You can use any type of heat safe container that has a temperature setting like a deep fryer or crock pot. But if you don’t have access to either of these containers you can use a pot on a stove. The pot on the stove method is a little bit more difficult to do because it is hard to keep a constant temperature.
The recommended dipping temperature is 85C. Make sure to measure this temperature with a thermometer before dipping the bottle in the wax.
Hold the bottle upside down and dip the neck of the bottle into the wax. Once the bottle is dipped, you can remove the bottle and let the excess wax drip off before turning the bottle right side up.
You can dip about 125 bottles per kg of wax. But depending on the size of your bottle you are covering you might need more or less wax.
